not a bad idea, everyone spec tanks and spam the spawn points from halfway across the map or even better get two tanks and spider tank so you can move around the map with impunity.
they are great on smaller maps too. free kills everywhere.

On the one hand the devs are saying look at our no1 guy on the K/D leaderboards look look guys you need to have a ratio of 9.97:1 or you are rubbish. Yet on the other hand they (and you) are saying that we have been given the tools and the items to counter this.
Read that again and tell me you or 90% of the playerbase are going to cert into AV skills as a pub player. They are giving no insentives at the moment for players to actually teamplay, they are actually saying gimp your builds for the good of the team. Stick the drivers head out of the tank for all i care if that's how the devs want to play it, at least that would actually take skill to pop his head like a mellon unlike driving around in a spidertanked HAV all day to get to the top of the leaderboards. Something needs to be done that's for sure. |

At least in EVE there are no official leaderboards that are counter intuitive and contradictive to gameplay, anyway we are looking at two very different mindsets. Mostly eve players are older and less likley to be "stat whores"

That's what i was going to test today not exactly that but how viable is a jeep against a tank, how many shots from a tank does it take to take one down. From what i noticed as a gunner in a tank the jeeps are taking way too much damage from tanks. Maybe the jeep had already taken damage. |

add to this more lamas will learn the spawn points and just park overlooking where you have to haul ass up there in a fat suit avoiding snipers etc to have any chance of shifting it, like hills arnt bad enough to walk up. There's one point on an assault map that i know it's happening on and i've played a max of about 6 hours. wtf are tanks doing on such a small maps anyway.

im about to go see if av nades/nano actually work like mines and test how many i can lay down.
though i did notice the lead tank in the spidertanked armor duo i was a gunner in last night didnt have any sheilds constantly. this is prolly why. |

@ Cpl Quartz, jeeps are quite weak vs tanks tbh. But it then depends on the type of turret used by the tank. LAV's are only jeeps remember. They shouldnt have much in the way of armour and anti-tank capacity.
was thinking more the lines of from a balance pov, faster veh so that the tanks turrets cant track ;) atm there is no drawback from being in a tank exept for maybe the cost and that won't be an issue once people can transfer funds to their dust bunnies. i have billions to waste on this dust isk sink, and i'm poor. assuming we will be able to do that ofc.
i two shotted a jeep and i could track it and time my shot when it came out of cover, that cant be right.
