It's not like you need a squad to take down the Onikuma. I let my roommate's friend play last night, he'd never played a shooter before and he managed to get a double kill on a couple of dumbarses driving around and not paying attention to the guy with the swarm launcher. |

I've actually seen people make pretty effective use of LAVs. I bet a team that practiced with them would be all but unbeatable on open terrain. Even HAVs would go down to all that repeated missile fire. |

My point is that this is supposed to be a game based on teamwork and most of these people do nothing but race around and run people over, so this is me caling them out of their vehicles to see how well they fight without them. And as for easly killing them, when I am running in my assault or scout suit (the ones without AV grenades) I can't very well get to the resources I need when I am nowhere near a supply centre, the other team just spawned three of the damn things, and nobody else on my team has any AV supplies on them either. That added to the fact that it is a 50/50 chance you're about to be spawned directly in front of one of them
Well when we look at it from that perspective LAVs aren't the problem, they're a symptom of the problem: bad grouping. Our squads are currently limited to four people, we don't have corps, and general instability of the game make grouping really difficult.
But if you've played EVE and seen what the player corps have accomplished, I'm sure you can imagine how different things will be when all that gets fixed. |

They are, my friend, they are. Just remember, we're not here to have fun, we're here to make sure the game works.
And if you see me on drop me a line, I'll either logi-bro for your team or fly you around in my dropship. |
