I'll start out with the old I know this is a beta bit, but I have have been playing or trying to for weeks, and have only managed to make it through a couple complete matches without it freezing, or locking up on me. I have read through other post from people with this problem also. My question is are there any setting in game or on the PS3, router, modem that I can change to minimize this problem? Thanks for any help, Jason |

In one of the threads, the dev mentioned that they're working on a quick fix for the freezing and lockup issues.  |

One of the issues that can cause a freeze is your PS3 not being cooled properly. If you haven't had your unit serviced in a while or you are using a launch unit I'd take it in and have it looked at. You might be out of thermal paste and your unit might have critical dust build up. Even then I personally needed to get a small high speed fan and set my PS3 upright and outside of an entertainment center before it would reliably work. I rarely get freezes unless I forget to turn the extra fan on now. |
