Love how the artist used screen shots of the Sifi (syfy) mini series of Frank Herbert's Dune for Empress Jamyl. love the movies and the book series. <3

I had an Idea for a new type of droan, one that can come out of space and carry out strikes in dust. I decided it would have to look considerably more sleek and aerodynamic than the current space faring drones (which, for the benefit of our dust-only friends, look pretty ugly), and also have wings. I also decided that because the Gallente are the race that best uses drones, it should follow the Gallente aesthetic. here is a crappy side view of one I drew earlier. I call it the 'Kingfisher', and gave it a kingfisher-like nose. now who can guess why I called it the kingfisher?
