I hate to bring this up -again- but turn speed is FAR to slow. It's incredibly unrealistic and unnatural. This goes for both the DS3 and KBM; I cannot comment on PS Move controls. A scout should be able to whip around fast enough to fight someone sneaking up from behind, the are light, fast moving, SCOUTS. I guarantee that if the US military were looking to recruit some people for reconnaissance or covert ops missions, they would -not- be hiring the scouts in Dust; their reaction time is nonexistent!
The heavies might be realistic, might not be, however I'm sure there are some military veterans here that could comment on that.
Assault suits feel sluggish, perhaps like they've been smoking some questionable plants that they found amongst the vegetation on this new planet of ours. LogiBro's feel the same way.
In short - RAISE THE DAMN TURN SPEED! I hate how slow it is on the DS3, I hate it even more using KBM.
Also, the dead zones on the DS3 are -horrendous- and I have not once seen a Dev or GM acknowledge them as an issue. Are we meant to be unable to play using the DS3? If that is the case, please do what all the angry PS3 elitists and wishful PC elitists tell you, and just release this on PC. However, in the event that you actually want people to be able to viably use the DS3, you should consider fixing the dead zones. You may also want to make aim assist an adjustable option, instead of just on/off.
In conclusion, raise the turn speed, fix the dead zones, and perhaps make further aim assist adjustments. These changes will improve the over-all feel of the game, and increase the amount of people that say "WOW!" after their first game, instead of "Well, I guess I'm going to have to get used to this..." |

I think turn speed caps should be raised similar to the cap in CoD. I mean, players in that using the DS3 can whip around like ballerinas, and they FREQUENTLY kill me (just watch your kill cam once in a while) but I have never once seen someone complain about that. Only when talking about gamepad vs KBM is that argument brought up, and console CoD is testament to it's invalidity. |

Well with the ds3 being the main controller as in what the majority uses, not many will complain |

Well with the ds3 being the main controller as in what the majority uses, not many will complain But they do complain. I say "Raise/remove speed caps" and people respond "You want to be able to whip around and shoot me like a ballerina? That would be OP" when the fact of the matter is, there are DS3 users in CoD, that can turn 180 degrees, and kill me with a headshot, more than twice as fast as I can turn 180 degrees, and start spamming bullets in your general direction with a mouse. I know, because I played CoD, nearly every day through 8th grade on XBL, and I died to people like this every day. |

Suits should have diffrent turn speeds to.show the difference between them. cod doesnt have kb/m support a ds3 user can whip around on cod but using that same system a kb/m could whip around three times and still be accurate. Besides it works on cod because you die so fast a player maybe be able to whip around but not if the other guy shoots first. In dust its diffrent the higher health means the player could get shot from behind and still spin around and open fire. This would also take away from the tactic used and make lone wolf even more popular because flanking would no longer be useful. |

Flanking would absolutely still be useful. If you have one guy, lone wolfing it, the maps are large and open enough to snipe him. If you are actually organized and holding your area as a coordinated group, a lone wolf wont get you. |

there was a setting in starhawk that i fkn loved where u could set if u wanted the sensitivity to speed up massively when the stick was pushed all the way, and another that would slow it down massively if u barely moved it |

i"ve been playing as a heavy almost exclusively. Lemme just say....raise my friggin turn speed. ran into this situation yesterday. LAV oncoming, lock and fire swarm launcher...missiles route over the vehicle and try to come from behind.. LAV is able to drive past, driver gets out 50yrds or so away and guns me down with a militia AR before I can turn all the way around.... |
