Well as remote explosives are close to useless, I haven't seen anyone using them in this build. To make them better I believe it would be nice if you could blow separate packs of remote explosives not all at once. That would make them more tactical weapon. |

How would that work? Would you have to aim at or lock onto the explosive you want to blow? |

well lets say if you have more than one of REs you could trigger with current active RE. Or maybe by that top down map. |

I think the reason they're not so popular yet is because of the cost and the price of the skill needed for them. |

It's a good idea if all the explosives are labled, just like in Unreal Tournament 2004. Whenever you drop an explosive, there will be a number on the ground from that explosive, which only you can see, of course. As we click the L1 button, you click epic blue panel on your left arm to detonate. I have a idea where if you want to blow up a specific explosive, hold L1 and hold R3 to scroll (from you blue panel) and select the numbered explosive you want to detonate. I don't see why this should be refused =D |

All your REs should be marked on your HUD. Pointing at one and tapping L1 detonates it. Holding L1, whether aiming at a specific RE or not, detonates all of them.
Seems simple enough to me. |

Seems simple enough to me. Goric sort of suggested that. And I'm persuming you got that technique from Unreal Tournament 2004? Atleast I have another Unreal Tournament player here :)
Either my or your technique should be implemented, in my opinion. |

I was an Unreal Tournament played back in the 90s, haven't picked it up since then.
I got the idea from Arkham Asylum, actually. |

You could open up your wrist computer thing, press the number of RE, or all, and then detonate. Cool idea. |

People aren't using them as much because of the 5 second arm time.
I think they need to make them do more damage as it's not easy to blow up a CRU or Installation with REs unless you carry 6. |

They need to remove or at least decrease the timer. They also nerfed the actual damage it does WAAAY too much, you can only carry two at a time but it takes two just to kill a baloch. I was planning on using these as anti-tank weapons (like I did in the previous build). Run up behind tank place 2-3 run to safe distance and KABOOM! No more tank. But sadly with these new updates the only way I can ever see someone using them is to protect NULL cannon control panels and camp. I play as a logistics so being able to put an AV weapon in an equipment slot so I can keep my assault rifle is really needed. Also, letting us run over and pick them up would be nice, so people dont need to waste a nanohive resupplying cus u laid a tank trap but someone else blew up the tank before it got to the trap. |

the main reason why I don't use them anymore is because I get ambush in 90 percent of my matches. I also can actually kill people with guns now that kb/m has been implemented
they should also stick to vehicles
a map or something I can use to detonate a specific RE also sounds interesting. |

I think the Remote Explosives are better now in this build. Not too OP and not too useless. You just got to use them tactically.
I have an Anti-Vehicle fitting and when I use it tactically. Like place REs on the ground where an enemy HAV might come strolling through, I detonate the REs, throw my AV grenades and unload my Swarm Launcher.
Which = Sayonara Tank.
You gotta get a bit creative with is just fine with me. :) |
