Alright noob moment. I have been getting orbital strikes lately and I have no idea how to use them. I figure I need to go to the map but I am not sure what to press after that. |

bring up the vehicle menu with the d pad and the warbarge should come up take in mind that only squad leaders can call in the strike.

I believe when your squad collectively gets enough WP, it allows you to use an airstrike. However only the squad leader can call in the strike. |

I can confirm that Orbitals are earned through Warpoints and Squad Leader Commissions. So if your a squad leader and want an orbital, better start using those squad commands ;] |

Hold down R2, then click the right stick. Hover over the command you want to give, then release R2. Aim at the target, and hit R1.
Alternatively you can open up the map and hold X over the target, then choose the command from there, but it still doesn't work on Null cannons in Skirmish unfortunately. |

how does anyone actually get an orbital? is it based on number of kills for the team, or a certain point in the match time-wise?
EDIT: whops, just read it's based on number of squad commands given/completed |

It's based on Warpoints, which are earned through kills and squad orders. So it's not just following orders, but it sure as hell helps ;] |
