We already have those. They're called other tanks. :) Between AV grenades + nanohives (Which -really- hurt), forge guns, and swarm launchers (Do not use militia swarms because they are useless and no tank driver has no reason whatsoever to fear them, even in groups. Standard swarms are much much more useful and scary.)
There is a lot of stuff that can take out tanks... Pretty easily, too. The problem is that nobody is really using them properly. I'll give you a hint... If you have a swarm launcher on a heavy suit that is probably your first mistake :P If you are going to go AV in a heavy, use a forge gun. If you want to use swarms, run assault or scout. |

I don't even know what you're asking for. Some kind of destroyer class tank? Or things that can destroy tanks? The latter exists in a number of forms. |

There is already a tank destroyer.... another tank. And us infantry have Swarms and Forges...... Maybe instead of a completely different class, there could be a fit for a tank that suits it better for killing other tanks, like all rails or something... There may already be a fit like that, which I would not be suprised. However, I'm not a driver, and I have no clue, but with all of the options that they have, I would imagine that they can make a fit that does what you are asking for. |

What's being asked for?
1. Guns that can destroy tanks: As mentioned, they exist in multiple forms.
2. Vehicles that can destroy tanks: As mentioned, that's the role other tanks tend to fill.
3. A light vehicle that mounts anti-tank weaponry: THIS would be interesting.
Something like a buffed out LAV with only driver and gunner seats, mounting a Heavy Turret and with slightly higher armour but slightly lower speed. Call them MAVs - Medium Assault Vehicles. I can see something like this being useful for anti-LAV operations, or for Dropship hunting, or as a better Logi tank - higher speed, but still tough enough that you can tank it up a little more than LAVs can manage. Still fragile, and the inability for the driver to be gunner at the same time means they'll still be sitting ducks for AV guys (just like solo LAVs are), but they're like a half-step between LAV and HAV. |
