I feel the issue is most of the feedback given here on the forums is always countered with this childish bullsh1t. Every time someone comes in with something to input they are immediately flamed by fgts saying, "its just a beta bro, you've obviously never played a real beta." So then those people, like myself, say you know what, **** all you guys and the horse you rid in on and just leave.
The reason the beta is how it is right now is those same people who are being gay and trolling those trying to post real issues here on the forums are also the ones nuthugging in the iirc chat. This is what i assume the typical life and conversation of a dust fanboy is in the chat.
"No CCP, dust is great how it is. It is perfect as it stands. There is no need to fix hit detection, or match making, or lag, or vehicle mechanics, or pay to win, or pay to chat, or constant hard freezing, or any of the other issues in this game right now. What we really want is to walk backwards in merc quarters and to have a new tank named after my favorite game of all time, Black ops. All these kids in the forums criticizing and putting down this game don't know what they are talking about, you just need to keep on adding new features and completely ignore the reason 75% of players play this game for a couple days and leave. They just don't understand what a great game should play like. Obviously since i have played eve everyday for the last 4 years, i understand what it takes to make a AAA shooter, and since they liked MAG and BF3, their perception of what a good shooter should be is flawed."
Everyone needs to get out of this "its just a beta" buttslit or thats what this game will continue to be... just a beta.
Dust could really be a good game, but the community is ruining not only the game, but the whole experience by trolling anyone trying to give decent input on the forums. If you guys are ok with what this game is now, thats fine with me. I was really looking forward to playing this game and supporting the community, but with the way the community has been, i could care less at this point if this game succeeds or fails (and i am starting to feel it will end up being the latter). |
