So, I got the Mercenary Pack, and I was looking at the 'Toxin' ICD-9, that's described as a permanent weapon.
What I can't find, is anywhere in the game that it clearly denotes it as a permanent weapon. Is such a marker present anywhere in the game that I'm not noticing? |

Blueprint dropsuits and weapons are highlighted/boxed in a blue outline when you are selecting items in the fitting window
For now, there isn't any real way to see if something on the market is an unlimited run blueprint, but basically anything militia is a blueprint, and everything else will be lost when you die.
If you see something on the market with an absurdly high price (>1000 AUR, like the MAG reference suits) it's probably an unlimited run blueprint |

yellow is default. it came with the suit, or with the vehicle, and cannot be removed (though it can be replaced) |

Those are default modules that are included with some special militia vehicles/dropsuits, like the dropsuits you start the game with. They are basically militia item blueprints, except they behave a bit differently in the fitting window. You can replace them with another module, but you cannot remove them. If you try, it will just appear in the same spot again.
They also appear on all vehicles in the turret slots. Can't be removed, but you can replace them with better turrets |
