i swear i head something about a jet sort of vehicle, somewhere, at some piont. are they still on the list of things to bring in by or quickly following launch? |

They will be called Fighters in Dust 514, and they won't be coming until post launch in an expansion pack. Search the forums, and you'll find more details and sources on that.. |

MTACS could be made as the counter to jets. Jets counter to drop-ships, dropships counter to tanks, tanks counter to MTACs.
if they are smart at least. I mean sure an MTAC should be able to move better than a tank. But it can equip MTAC class swarm launcher used for taking out air. You also fit anti-tank gear or a HMG but dual weilding. :P |

i like this idea  also calling them fighters? alright, even better! lol too bad fighters have no place in eve. it would be fun to assult eve ships from the first person veiw of a fighter! lol |

Actually, Fighters were mentioned in the 8 vehicle classes the game will be launching with, with the other 2 of the 10 coming in that expansion next year. I do kind of commiserate with the OP though, as I'm pretty much just banking SP toward those right now. Soon as I can get in the air, I'm never coming down. |
