Stop being trolls, this game is only coming to the ps3. If this game do good. That's only good for gamers. Maybe it will come out later on the PC and both PC and ps4 players can all play together in the EVE universe. Maybe all the consoles connect to the EVE universe next generation gaming, but stop trolling sony. Be a gamer and play the game and stop being fanboys to microsoft. If a game has potential. Give it a chance....Dust 514 is a fun game and getting better. |

FYI - CCP approached Microsoft about having the game on XBox as well as PS3, and Microsoft would not allow the cross platform functionality so that Dust514 could interact with Eve Online. This led CCP to sign an exclusive console agreement with Sony - not because they wanted to but because Microsoft's demands were so high it would have changed the nature and purpose of the game. |

well lets focus on this platform, cross platform can come later after the game got a nice roll ...
But seriously what the hell? How can they even argue? I mean to be able to post on this forum they must have created a character, which they only can create on the ps3, so why the hell are they whining on this forum if they have a ps3? Its like crying "I wanted a Paladium bullion not a bullion, i hate you, go die, and Justin Beiber ftw." |

What I heard is that MS would have allowed it on the Xbox but only if CCP would put Dust on their servers. Which of course wouldn't have worked IF it was going to be a cross platform game and CCP probably doesn't want to put their code there anyway. Microsoft to me seems like a bunch of ***** babies. Since they didn't get their way then they took their ball and went home.
I wanted to play Dust so badly that I went out and bought a PS3. After my 1 year subscription with Xbox live has ended I might just let it lapse and put my Xbox in the closet. |

There are many theories why it didn't work, probably a reason was because Microsoft is charging 10.000+ bucks per patch? Maybe because their policy prohibites free downloads on almost every corner? (on the last one you have to help me since i have no xbox360 - does really everything (except demos) cost you points? and if not, what is free?)
I personally am just glad, since i didn't have to buy a xbox 360 and pay for online gaming -_- |

Microsoft wants:
- Dust 514 exclusively on their server with no connections to outside servers
- Charge on game and all updates
- MS gets a percentage of sales
- MS gets part of monthly fee

Look on the bright side, PS3 doesn't make you pay for online access. No monthly fee added to your internet bill to play with your friends. Microsoft pretty much screwed themselves because they wanted even more money. CCP said **** that, we want dust to be free to play, they already get money from EVE and the way dust is going to work is to encourage people to play EVE... Sounds like a good plan to me. |
