Yes, though as I mentioned before I am most distraught about the lack of dogs to kick, and the missing random stampeding heard of wild animals we have to put down... |

Profit.
Also, in time, some of these planets will become fiercely contested by huge alliances, that need these planets for particular resources. It's gonna get nasty.
We'll see flora, though perhaps not at first. CCP is a patient company, and they're constantly applying updates and fixes. Not to mention expansions coming out practically around every corner, that you never pay a dime for.

Don't they always make "box art" for downloadable games? They do on the Xbox, but I guess there isn't really a place where you would see it on the PS3 interface. |

I know. It's just common practice to have some kind of cover art these days, whether or not the game ever gets put on a disc in a box. |

They don't usually (with rare exceptions) create box art for PSN download-only titles.
And there's no sane or rational reason to do so for a free-to-play downloadable, because there's practically no chance of it ever going to a boxed form. Would be funny if they did release a cheap disc version though. |

It won't really be suprising if they do make a boxed disc set for Dust even tho it is a F2P download on PSN. EvE online is a free download aswell and F2P in a way. Yet periodically they release boxed editions for big updates to the game and for buying it you get the box and a special redemtion code for forking up the cash on it which is usually some special item that has no real use but is collectible in the eve universe and worth some good ol iskies.
So they could do the same and instead here for Dust you get a skill booster, or a special dropsuit or somethng.. I could see it happen.. got to pay the bills somehow. |

Interesting, didn't know FTP on-line games released in retail boxes, disc costs is one of the main reasons to go with on-line distribution.
Also all of those pictures are VERY old pre-fan fest publicity stills......
Article feels more like a hoax to me |
