depends on the fit to be honest. But most of the times a couple AV grenades are enough to take down tanks. I soloed quite a good amount of tanks this build. usually the tank driver runs away when he gets damaged by any kind of AV weapon. You need to ambush those guys. Get a militia LAV, 3 guys with AV grenades drive close to the tank full speed, every 1 jumps out and the LAV should crash into the HAV to distract the tank. Then just spam 9 AV grenades at the tank (3 guys in a LAV=9 AV grenades). No tank on earth will survive that attack. for this tactic i recommend this setup:
Heavy militia dropsuit with AV grenades, Militia assault rifle and maybe a militia armor extender.
Militia LAV fully loaded with (you might guess) more militia stuff.
Overall the only thing that will cost you ISK are the AV grenades |

An anti missle system which is basically an oversized shotgun could destroy a javelin like nothing |

wow i completely disagree, i have 3 av grenades, not even av weapons just grenades, and i killed 2 milita tanks one right after the other with just grenades. If you get two people or just one person with av grenades and a nano hive you can kill any tank in hte game, and you can keep your main weapon and guess what av grenades only cost like 3k isk hahahaha
Tanks are way underpower atm. |
