Ok so I had a nice battle with a pretty smart LAV driver. He would Wait to see me in motion of throwing an AV Grenade, then start to pull forward or backwards quickly. Well he does this as i throw my second grenade and he backs up to the spot where my original AV Grenade was thrown. when he drove over the first one, it had not blown up before but did as soon as he drove over it.
So would this mean it is acting as a claymore? or just broken and buggy? |

I think it's luck. The problem with the grenade has a delay explosion,it's because the animation has to complete before exploding. Try throwing the grenades uphill, watch it rolls, it won't explode until it stops. |

How about a 'sticky' AV granade?.. it may not help in your situation, but it would be good for those drivers that don't see it coming.... |

soooo much trollin fun to be had on LAV drivers
one of the few game mechanics CCP managed to get working right , the new homing update to the AV nades actually has them very useful....love it
PS: anyone know if the flux nades are homing as well? |

if you're failing to kill lavs with AV grenades you're doing it wrong... try throwing them well above the target, they basically turn into a missile when they lock on and shoot directly at the vehicle, killing most LAVs instantly |

Well i have had the chance to test this out with some friends in a match and it does work, throing them down in the pasth pf an LAV does work. I would throw the LAV grenade to the ground and Stand on top of it, letting the LAV driver think he could crush me... as i jump out the way then BOOOOOM, he is dead! Trolling has never been so good!
So i am saying YES you can use them as a Claymore/Trap for LAV's!!!

sadly that wouldn't work on me you would just be droping to your death as I normally let my gunner kill off anyone I see unless he has a swarm and I feel I will get hit then I charge him knowing his first swarm shot WON"T KILL ME :P and i've only lost maybe 5 lavs MAYBE to av nades in like what 50 games |

i just love these av grenades now that ccp has them working right droping lav left and right tanks too best tank kill i would say was he was on top of a hill found a path that took me near him drop a ammo pack and just lob av grenades till he pop

And i agree man, there are some people out there that are very skilled with the LAV, such as myself. The thing is i dont do any skilling on them. and just use the starter Fit, but im still hecca good At driving and avoiding. But thats when Swarm launchers come into play for me, if the AV grenade cant do it, and i see LAV's EVERYWHERE... i just blow **** up lol |
