Is there anyplace that DUST players can chat with EVE players in a forum like this one? The reason I say this is because currently if you want to respond to an EVE player's comments you have to have an EVE online account... not only that but posting on the EVE forums is against the NDA... which is a problem.
We need a secure forum in between that doesn't let us fully into the EVE area, but yet doesn't let them fully into the DUST area either. Since we are going to be testing this system together soon. :/ |

Well all EVE players now have access to the Dust Beta, so if you want to talk to EVE players about Dust...this is the place. |

Not really, a good majority of the people who are playing the EVE beta don't have access to our forum, and a lot of our beta testers don't want to buy an EVE account, meaning that a lot of potential cross observation of bugs, and rumor demolishing cannot be done.
Not to mention flimsy rumors like "EVE pilots will be able to shoot DUST players at any time or place they want" which are going around the EVE boards like wildfire right now. If they could use their EVE logon to get to the intermediary, and we could use our DUST logons to get to the intermediary, then there would be a lot more interaction.
I have no idea how none of them have even heard about the Orbital Cannons, but they should be learning about them soon enough when their beta ships get shot down. |

I'm saying that the EVE players who are interested in Dust have the ability to come to these forums and talk since they all got Beta invites. There is really no reason to make another forum that does the same thing as this one.
Also EVE beta? There is no EVE beta. |

So EVE players are not participating in their half of this Beta?
Interesting. I was under the impression they'd get to try Orbital Bombardments soon. |

After thinking about the post for a while I concluded that the term "Beta" is in a bit of contention
What I was referring to the EVE beta is their connection to the DUST environment. The connection is just as much a Beta, even if the world itself is not. I can easily point to other games, such as "World of Warcraft'. They have a Beta for their Panda expansion, but obviously WoW is not new, and I was using a similar state when talking about the EVE beta. |
