Those turrets were better than these.......bring them back CCP.
inb4pplsay flank only retards get 180 degree flanked while in a turret tbh

There's a bug right now where a turret operator ends up buried underground and is rendered invincible.
Try flanking that. |

I never saw anyone complain I think they were just updating the graphics for more flavor this build.
My issue with the turrets is that the rail turret can snipe people across the map and fires pretty quickly too. Its not even something you could out flank (if killing the operator was possible) since it can see you coming from a mile away and does such crazy damage. |

This is more an issue of those turrets finally being where they are supposed to be, however once you get close enough it's easy to avoid the turret as it rotates very slowly. There is also a strange thing that you can shoot with a turret right to it's base now which I think is a bug and not an intended feature.
Part of those turrets is that they have to be scary for them to have a use, because later on you have to pay isk to deploy those. So, aside from bugs and getting steam rolled by tanks large railgun turrets are pretty much where they are supposed to be.

id prefer some risk to the person using the turret like the last ones tbh ppl that wanna spend all game sitting in a railgun installation.......fine by me but have it like last ones where u can still put shots on the exposed part of the operator , this also gives snipers a useful role for turret campers |

Being on the outside of the turret by default was always stupid. Even if it is an unintentional bug, I would recommend leaving it in. |

Being in the turret is good but it also has flaws because those turrets do one shot anyone near by. If we are to leave the user not vulnerable while using the turret we need re-think the hacking of those turrets while the user is still inside, maybe if the user dies while inside a turret that is being hacked (gunner's connected to neural interface what ever that kills him with a successful hack). Also hacking speed for those turrets would then need to be slightly shorter when "they are in use" or at least fix the turret alignment to say 30 degrees from the base as max, current seems to be like maybe 10-15 ? |

comes down to flanking and like i said tbqh only retards really get flanked while in a turret u have a radar that shows ppl approaching no way someone should still get flanked on a turret
the old turrets were better still good but if u camped it u werent 100% safe someone with a good shot could pop some shots in ur face and dip behind cover and force u off the turret or a sniper could snipe u out of it
that is much better than having to go 180 degrees behind someone to kill the operator cuz again..........only retards really get flanked |
