I don't know how many times i end up spawning in skirmishes in the middle of 6 enemies and my teams on the other side of the map. It gets highly annoying being mowed down right after you spawn do to that reason. I hope there is a way to implement something that either revives you at least close to your team or away from the main enemy group somehow. |

Drop Uplinks. If your team isn't using them, well... they probably deserve to lose. Certain dropships also function as mobile hotspots. |

You do have a choice of where to spawn you know, one of the objectives your team owns. Its on you not to drop in to some CBQ you dont think you can handle. |

I believe he's talking about the mode without objectives (I can't remember which has which name).

This. Although you do still have to look out for them being camped and not just blindly select a spawnpoint...

Agreed. The spawning system right now is abysmal in skirmish mode. Too often have I spawned too close to hostile troopers. |

It's not just appearing next to heaps of them. It's also having 3 of them respawn almost simultaneously right on top of you after you spawn in the middle of nowhere.
There needs to be either a bit of programming script that 'detects' enemies or at least some invulnerable 'grace' period for newspawns where they can't be hurt until they fire or it wears off.
Sure, deploying spawn beacons is neat, but being the ONE person that does it unfortunately won't save your team. Until everyone gets used to doing this, it's going to suck. |

Most FPS have a spawn system that checks where 'hostiles' are, and spawn you a sufficient distance from them to prevent spawn ganking.
It does take a few seconds for the player to orientate on where they have spawned at before they can play effectively. If they spawn close enough to hostiles for them to SEE the spawn (visually or on radar), it's not working, and the new spawn dies quickly. |
