I don't see any Go-Go/Strip bars on these planets, or anywhere one could quench his thirst with some Quafe beer -- or maybe grab some lunch. Not even a billboard in sight so far. Why are they all industrial-looking settings on the planets? Do people live on any of them? Do they have any retail or housing?
Do the Shanghai devs realize this is an EVE-related game and not the normal, run-of-the-mill FPS?
Please put some giggles into the scenery!

Also, Quafe is a soft drink. No alcohol. Bet it mixes with Vodka great, though.
Edit: Really? Nicknames for breasts get blocked?
LOL on Boobies....
I always thought it was beer.
Where do the industrial workers eat? And even in industrial zones there is advertising. Ya' don't see much graffiti on buildings, either. You would think an occasional funny thing would add game enjoyment. JMHO.

Ten-Sidhe wrote:The quafe formula does contain hallucinogens and possibly people. It had some questionable protein, almost like caldari company that had scandal about recycling dead people into food. Didn't one of the dev videos say something about a district exporting exotic dancer to buy armour plates from boring districts, fight over control of the dancer training facility?
Exactly! Those exotic dancers have to work someplace.

Klivve Cussler wrote:It would be funny/cool to see graffiti as a map "mood". Say, if the facility is abandoned or unprofitable.
While I agree to the "where are the houses", it unfortunately begs the question "where are the people"? Where are the inhabitants of these planets? I don't think we want to go down the road of rendering workers screaming and fleeing from the onslaught of the Dust hordes.
Of course, a negative WP score for hitting a civilian could be cool... no, better not go there.
Yeah. I like that last idea.
Houses? Well, not conventional houses, Klivve, but residential facilities, perhaps. Think the movie Aliens or what ever iteration of that series it was, that had the all male, religious, penal colony that did the lead casting as the place the story unfolded.
Would be kinda' kewl to see the civilians running around with their hair on fire.
Which brings me to another point. Ever notice that the game warning says "Blood Violence," but you really don't see much blood to speak of? (Maybe with a knife melee kill?) I kinda' like that aspect and it makes sense with Mercs in armor. Shows you can do great effects without a lot of blood.
Thx!

Itchy Phox wrote:Las Dustas casino's, lap dance joints ran by organised crime corps/alliances. Are there any outfits like that in the EVE lore or perhaps players that operate on the shadier side?
Are their any shady players in EVE????? ROF,LMFAO!!! Sorry, Itchy. You have no idea what a fine question that was from a non-EVE player. You have no way to have known it, but it was kind of like asking, "Were their any raciest people in the WWII German SS."
You really have me laughing!
Thx!
