Eventually corporations will have Space Elevators for sending the valuable raw materials up into POS's in space.
Well, what if we could have battles in which the attacking corporation must breach through security doors while the defenders must attempt to keep them out. Defenders could repair damaged doors, and possibly able to repair destroyed doors. When the defenders are able to make it into the interior of the compound, they could set up explosives with O on the structural integrity of the elevator to bring it tumbling down.
If you want to add to the strategy involved, a corporation could possibly, when building/designing their compound but not during a match, design it like one would in a tower defense game. Using drones as stationary turrets or even patrolling corodoors of the hallways leading to the center of the compound.
TLDR; New game mode requested, Sabotage, players fight to infiltrate a player owned compound and set up explosives on their Space Elevator.
Any other player input on this idea would be greatly appreciated! |

Not explosives but have to damage vital parts of the elevator (which could be done by explosives though ;)). Similar to Skirmish but with pure defense and offense. |

When installations actually come in I think much of Skirmish will be along the lines of a sabotage game, which players having to blow up installations critical to the enemy's defense. |

Do both. Have battles progress in stages. Defenders hold strong or get pushed back until their backs are against a wall with total failure looming. |
