Im loving this game. I don't have a whole lot of complaints, other than Technical Issues. Me and my friend played for about 3 straight hours tonight. That would be 9pm-12am EST. We had no problems connecting, no Invalid Suit problems, and no infinite load screens. Did run into those problems yesterday though. Seems CCP is working on things which Im glad to see. If you're still having problems, that sucks.
I see alot of people complaining about the game and no LOVE threads. So I figured Id post a LOVE thread. Im having a great time. Im a sniper, sniped last build, sniped this build, and will continue to snipe. I play sniper in almost every FPS I play, it's just what I enjoy doing. I see complaining about snipers, why should they have to play your way. Maybe they enjoy sniping. Maybe some people enjoy assault, Ive seen ALOT of assault guys, and Ive seen alot of heavies. Those 2 play styles don't interest me that much. Im sure there are other people out there like me.
I do enjoy my tank as well. Me and my friend have a nice little rotation down for tanks. We're both making ISK and SP. Chugging along quite nicely. This isn't a quick game. It's supposed to take time and you aren't supposed to get rich overnight. If you think you should, I recommend you find another game to play. Maybe COD and Battlefield are more your style, quick, run n gun, no aiming, all hipfire, rambo mode. Which is totally opposite of this. This is TEAM Based on a whole new level to most FPSers. And this game requires THOUGHT. Alot of those skills tie together if you take the time to read them. Take snipers, do you realize that you can get a 40% damage boost just off Weaponry and Sniper Rifle Proficiency (whatever the first sniper skill is). Add a Complex Light Weapon damage mod and that's 50%. At which point I one shot all but the stoutest heavy suits.
So don't always assume something is Overpowered, maybe that guy just trained his skills correctly. Or maybe God forbid, they are just a better player. Contrary to popular belief, everyone isn't Wolverine, you aren't all the best at what you do. Although you may think you are. |
