I want that gun and that vehicle. Matter a fact, I want all the weapons on this video. I wonder will they still have those weapons at release? It would be good to see how the weapons look now. The graphics are much nicer now |

Yeah, tht was the video that pulled me in.-á If u notice it is also on the PC. It makes u wonder though about the slow process since then.-á Issues with crucible had to set I back.-á Then I would also imagine that moving it to a console platform has slowed I as well.-á

When the game was announced a few months earlier it was announced as a console game. It was always going to be a console game. |

I imagine most games for PS3 start their life inside a PC |

I like those shiny effects on the textures and being able to explore the war room in first person. Everything else seems to have improved quite a bit in the current build. But I would have thought 3 years would have much more to show...
Most likely it was switching to Unreal Engine 3, and setting up the EVE network to integrate with DUST. Since it's an MMO, a lot of content we haven't (And probably won't for a while) has already been created and undergoing internal testing for post-release.
I first heard of DUST last year, and only remembered when I saw someone in my PSN list playing it. The concept interested me. |

It was not on PC and it was never said to be a PC game. From day in 2009 CCP said Dust 514 is their "Console Shooter"...I wish if it was on PC tho

You guys are right. But where do u think these games r developed? In a fairy world? Look at the footage. It's obviously being right clicked and mental open. These games are not writen and coded on a ps3. But for a ps3, yes. Anyway, I know that there was another engine they were using at first. Then had to switch to unreal. I really don't know what that video is actually on. Could be unreal. They never really said. But they don't talk about that video anymore. And they have turned a good amount of staff since then. |
