I used the search function and couldn't find anything about ranks in the game. Are there any plans to release "ranks" like level 1 to 100 during the beta phase? I can't recall reading or seeing anything about that being put in the game. |

The only mention of ranks I have come across is that corperations will do this themselves internally,
as they see fit.
In this game as with most Rpg's is more about experience total and wealth than any set leveling system.

Yeah ranking should be an internal corp function. In our corp we will have a ranking structure based on position.
CEO- Handles strategic direction of corp
Executives- handles logistics and operational
Battlefield Commanders- makes tactical decision making
Squad Leaders- lead the squads
Every rank must be able to fill and execute the rank below it . |

the second you join a corp that can promote you, you will be able to join the higher ranks and there can be other player made rank in EVE as well i believe like making one guy in charge of buying and selling one type of item like putting him in charge of buying corp sanctioned modules or ships/ guns for the corp members who died. |

Factional Warfare has its own rank and medal system. Player an organizations issue thier own ranks based on whatever merits they come up with.
In some places they'd make me admiral in others a lowly LT. |

The ranking system in eve aint so much on ur levels but on ur experiance as in the date u started. Ofcoarse the more experianced. Are the more feared and respected u are. Thats how much of the games ranking system will work is on respect.
A corp will setup its own internal ranking system by position placing more respectable and trusted players above others.
As for corp hiring among alliances again thats a mater of respect its all about making a name for uselves |

This game has no levels.
This game has no ranks.
If your corp wants to have ranks like:
The Dictator,
The #2
Peons
Then that is fine, or if they want they can create realistic military ranks.
But outside of player generated, this game has none and should continue to have none. |

I hope there are not dev based ranks and levels as some F2P MMOs only allow you to play to a certain level before you have to subscribe. Those F2P MMOs are technically F2P but not really. I am pretty sure that DUST will not be that way as they use AUR but dev based ranks would make it possible. |

You have ranks in FW and corporation have essentially as many ranks as they can have titles with different roles to access which is near endless.

The vast majority, if not all shooters have some sort of rank that can show how loyal you are to the game, or how much time you've put into it. It's not that I "want" ranks, it's just weird that they aren't in the game "so far".
If I'm with a certain faction for "X" days, I think that your "rank" should update to show other players/members that you've "been here awhile", etc. That's all.  |
