I doubt you can do that as it seems to be that the name of the char seems to be the main identifier of the character itself.
I wanted to change the sex and speciality of my character. I think it might be possible to delete a char then re-instate it if you use the same name, but I'd already associate my bonusses with the current one (which I doubt you could re-do) so I won't attempt to do it with my main now. I tried it with an alt though and it seemed to work (I can't guarantee the spelling was correct, but I think it was the same).
It would be good to see character management be an easier and more established part of the next build. |

There will be an editable bio section a clan tag could be placed. They won't let us change names, since rep built over months/years is big part of game. |

The day the merc pack came out I did that. Made a char and gave him the booster and other goodies, but wanted to change the race. Deleted and re-made without thinking about it so I lost all that stuff, but when Precursor came out it was all reinstated to me. If you can go without it for now, you will get it back for release, or next wipe if there is one. |

thanks guys for the help. i was guessing that was the case, no biggie. hopefully can still role with my clan until the next wipe i will add there tag.
and i mean roll not role.. i wont wear a wizard robe and hat |

New Eden will never allow you to change names not even as a paid service as its a database nightmare
Tags are going to be corp granted no need to change your name for it.
You are much much safer not having clan tags in your name, because chances are you will outlive your clan and having things like STB (which btw is already taken in eve) or delta in your name would... hamper future employment. |
