So I got curious and did a little math based on the fit cost for mercs. This is what I got. Mind you, this does NOT factor in suits other than Assault Type-1 and uses basic (non-militia) equipment.
Dropsuit:Caldari Assault type 1 $13,600
Light Weapon:Breach Assault Rifle$5,800
Sidearm:Scrambler Pistol $2,000
Grenade:Locus Grenade $1,400
High:Basic Shield Extender$2,600
Basic Shield Recharger$3,600
Mid: Nanohive $2,800
-or-
Nanite Injector $4,000
Low:Basic Armor Repairer $3,400
Basic Cardiac Regulator$1,920
TOTAL
$41,120
10 fits=411,200 (based on the idea that the average deaths per match is 10)
16 mercs=6,579,200
so that's approx 6.5 mil ISK per match based on only Basic Assault fit prices...
Not really making a point or anything just found it interesting...

More math: supposing a match last 15 mins, 1 eve player could pay the match just doing S4's at the same time :P |

Totally irrelevant, but it was hilariour getting run over by you a couple of times, and even more fun getting revenge when I came back with a Swarm Launcher instead of the shotgun and SMG (the SMG was a mistake, I picked the wrong fitting, because I'm stupid like that sometimes).
