I was thinking about it and Dust 514 could potentially be a full on MMO. think about it, I'm talking about way down the line what if instead of waiting in your room or mission briefing room, you could freely run around just like you do in dust, catching shuttles to different stations or planets to do PvE or Eve players picking up soldiers to do raids. Maybe even Eve player ship boarding where you have to take over the control room and the the owner of the ship can, I don't know have drones swarm the corridors or invest in internal turrets with control over automatic doors or something. It could work with some planning and knowledge of Eve, and it would make Dust 514 as it is now the equivalent of battlegrounds in WOW. I know that's allot, and it would probably be pay to play but......just do it |

There is no way in the seven hells you are boarding my ship. It would ruin the game for a lot of people, plus we don't have control rooms. We fly the ships from little fluid containing pods with our super awesome brains. By all means board NPC vessels, but not capsuleers. |

Well if you had of bought those radioactive cyber gorillas with laser eyes when they were on sale it would have only taken 2 seconds to kill them all.
would it work for other things in real time though like outposts or towns on planets? wouldn't it be nice to know that space station you just blew to bits with a titan was full of Dust 514 players waiting for transport to a puppy stabbing planet |

POS's (Player Owned Stations/Starbases) could work, player-owned ships just can't for obvious reasons even though the idea may sound like a good one to people who haven't played EVE Online (sorry for assuming, but it just sounds like you haven't). |

Yet another thread about boarding ships. Like eve players don't have enough to worry about between griefer war-decs, high sec gankers and certain large alliances who think they run the game who will remain namless. |

your right I haven't, although boarding player owned ships was just a small part of what I was thinking it seems to be all anyone noticed. What about capturing N.P.C ships for loot? Hire some mercs and send them off on a shuttle to plunder the galaxy for you. lots of ideas you could come up with (without causing any grief) |

Still wont work. Eve players rely on NPCs for ratting and such. The only permananet spawn npcs are empire npcs and CONCORD. Good luck with boarding a CONCORD ship. |
