i have some stories. but i am not sure what will get deleted off the forums and what won't. i could start with tijuana.

Not technically MY epic moment, since it's my girlfriend playing right now while I'm chatting with a few of our clanmates (not yet sure how many will be coming to DUST with me).

Anyway, she was in a Skirmish match, and she was playing as a relatively mobile sniper. She hadn't been doing badly, but wasn't going great either, lots of assists, but very few kills. She was providing a good long-range defense at 2 of the 4 points though, and backing up the couple of teammates at each quite nicely.

Then she got counter-sniped by an enemy sniper (who I had to give props for the great couple of shots they landed on her).

She respawned, and as she was heading up to another good sniper spot (she moves relatively often), I looked at the objective trackers on the HUD, and saw 2 things - first, the enemy team had reclaimed ALL the points while she was dead, and second, the enemy MCC was at 0 health.

"Wow, you could probably take out the MCC with your sniper"
"Don't give me stupid ideas"
"Why not? GIve it a shot"

So she aims up, gets the MCC in her sights, and fires one shot.

Mission ends. VICTORY.

Really? Yeah. That just happened. I'm sure the opposing team was wondering WTF just happened while they controlled all the cannons.

Yes, I was there as the sun set and we died like flies running and driving recklessly between A, B, C, and D with our guns blazing and our mics off... I was there.
