I am sure this has been brought up before and it seems imprtant enough to bring up again.
In skirmish, as long as there are null canon control points to hack, it only makes sense to be able to flag them for our squad if we are squad leader. SInce we don't get a bonus for going to or fighting at a rally point, the only other way to reward a squad for capturing or defending a point is to tag a merc or vehicle and hope for the best. |

You can already do this. Also, because most people are unaware I will explain something here.
Hitting down on the D-pad should be used solely as a map. Issuing squad orders from there is a waste of time.
When you want to issue a squad order, hold down R2 and hit R3. It will change your item selection to a squad order selection. From there it will set R1 to whichever order you select. When you aim at an objective from there, and hit R1, the order will be placed on it.
You cannot place the following Defend order on enemy equipment attack order on friendly equipment Capture order on friendly equipment (probably not attack orders on main objectives) Capture order on a player Defend order on an enemy attack order on a friendly. |

Like Kengfa said, its already available. It needs to be also available when opening the the map though, not just the command wheel. Sometimes one does not have a clear line of sight for an objective, and using a map is necessary. |
