Listed below are a few changes I would like to see in the full release of the game for Mouse and Keyboard.
1) Mouse and Keyboard are at a severe disadvantage when turning. I run a Rat 7 Cyborg mouse at 5600 DPI, with max settings I STILL have to life the mouse 4 times to complete a full circle. Sensitivity is at 100, mouse smoothing off. An untrained clone takes less than 2.5 seconds to rotate a full circle by controller. By mouse it can take upwards of 3-4 depending if having lifted your mouse off the pad to turn caused it to move back the other direction.
2) When keyboard and mouse are used, we should see more than just "Press O to ____". It would be nice if we could get the hotkeys for keyboard to display as well or as an alternative.
3) Non-Combat navigation would be GREAT because once I launch this game, I dont want to have to juggle 2 controlling devices, controller and mouse/kb just to be able to enter a message or because I am chatting with someone.
4) Can I set my own binds please?
These are not immediate requests, I could stand a little after launch myself, but please do put them on the ledger. If this ever comes to PC in the next year or more, its not going to go well if these key issues are not addressed. If it stays local to PS3 than you'll have a lesser crowd of annoyed players but its still a major disadvantage. |

If you move the mouse SMOOTHLY and in a CONTROLLED manner instead of trying to "spin" it, you can turn just as fast as a sixaxis controller will allow.
It just takes some getting used to the fact that the game handles differently from MOST PC FPS games - I've played a few back in the early days of proper 3D FPS games where they had hard turning caps, and it took getting used to them as well, but when you're comfortable doing it right, you get just as much control as you'd normally be used to with KB+M. You DON'T have the same turning speed you're used to, because if you did, that would give you a horribly unfair advantage over players using sixaxis controllers. |

I agree to a point. I posted my own feedback about the mouse itself and currently spinning with a mouse is far slower than a controller and needs some serious fine tuning.
I think it would help to maybe put in a calibration tool for mouse users so the game could help calibrate the mouse to the speed the player needs it to be. |
