while i understand having evreybody have an enemy spawn near them to kick the action off briskly it somewhat loses its charm when me and one ally get spawned in the middle of the entire enemy team at the beggining of the game especially since when we tried to run away or duck behind cover to put objects between us and the 3:1 odds, another enemy soldier would spawn in near us where we had no cover to protect ourselves. |

This exactly.
Every Ambush match I've played so far has gone followed the exact same script. First minute or two is fine then one team gets dominance and rolls around together ganking each player as they spawn all by themselves in the middle of nowhere. I'm yet to see anyone come back from this. Might as well end the match when one team gets 75% of their members within 50m of each other.
If you spawn nearby a teammate then you can at least start to fight together and try to hit back against the blob. |

I agree. I played my first Ambush games today and when the spawn menu came up I found myself thinking, where the hell am I going? We need fixed spawn points, that perhaps change location after a certain number of deaths, to maintain some of the fluidity. |

it just gets ridiculous that one side gains an advantage in the beginning by bing able to swarm the other team, but in that same match after the initial getting owned on a 6:1 outnumbering both sides banded together with their allies and we had a huge shootout with vehicles and everything it ended up being alot of fun its just in the beggining that it gets to be ridiculous. |

If you are going to use random spawn sites on the map can you please show where they are going to be before we spawn there?? Its getting me killed before I have a chance to get my bearing on the map. The default spawn site should be well away from the enemy concentration. |

There should be a distance rule to the spawning. I spawned right in front of a red dot. Got gunned down before realising what was happening ... |

spawning in abush is really bad, you spawn next to enimies all the time, is "dropping in" from above still something ccp would add ? needs some work still. also i think some people have learned where you will spawn on skirmish too. i had 2 guys insta kill me when i spawned on the outskirt of the map then they both t bagged me, guess they knew i was gonna spawn there. happened 2 times that round. |

On IRC CCP said they are working on building a dynamics "safe bubble" zone where people could spawn in. This sould be recalculated for each spawn according to enemy locations.

During ambush I have an entrenched charater set up that I advise. It costs to make but it's a logistic suit with a drop uplink and nano hive. This point you find a stragic location and drop the uplink for your team to spawn in and let the fortify the area with the nano hive keeping them topped up. Thankfully the nano hive now stays on after death so if you die you can change and respawn to help defend your location with your new spawn teammates

There's this thing called a Militia Drop Uplink. Put one on one of your fits and use it intelligently a few times over the course of a match. No more random spawns. |
