The PS3 controler is way more sensitive now than in the previous build, unusably so. I've tried varying the sensitivity setting between 0 and 100 and it seems less sensitive at 100! Something definitely isn't working correctly.
Please return the lower sensitivity options, I had it set to 5 in the previous build and it worked great for me. As it is now playing is an unpleasant experience, and keyboard and mouse feels so unlike other fps pc games that I would rather just use the ps3 controller the way it was. |

+1
I had it at 8 in the previous build and liked it a lot. Now anything more than the smallest of corrections and it's all over the place.
I do wonder though, is the new sensitivity setting the X and Y numbers? The ones that range from 0-100 at intervals of 10? Or is it the selection under the Motion-controller that is labelled as reticle sensitivity (or something similar) that ranges from 0-100 at intervals of one (like the old build did)?
I tried turning on the aim assist and it seemed to help a little bit. I didn't get to try it out a lot with the server coming down and all. |

Yeah it's the x and y settings, the other ones you mention are for the move controllers (motion tracking stuff). I tried turning on the aim assist as well but it didn't appear to affect my sensitivity settings. In general aim assist makes me miss because of my lag, I have to lead targets to hit. |

I figured the one under the motion controller wouldn't work, but it was also the only one I could find with the interval set to 1. Going by intervals of 10 seems crazy when in the last build we didn't even have it set to 10. I can't imagine anyone playing well with anything above 25 or so (relative to the old settings). |

Hopefully more people weigh in and it gets resolved, it doesn't appear to be bothering many people, perhaps they are all using keyboard and mouse now |

I was a little worried it was just me when I looked in the discussion forum and didn't see anyone complaining about it. Hopefully more people will say something, because I honestly don't understand how anyone could play with the sensitivity this high. |

M/KB controls were crazy sensitive too compaired to tuesdays test. It was still under what I preferred for controls but still. Must be something wrong with all controls. |

I find the PS3 controler is too sensitive as well, they really need to fix it if they want controler users to be competitive with KB/M users |

Or you guys just need to get used to it, I've been in this game for like 4 months now so I'm used to controls being sensitive now. |

I agree with you all, completely, the sensitivity are broken... But I find them not sensitive enough, I moved it up to 100 and didn't really feel a change. |

The OP said that 100 actually seemed less sensitive than anything else, so try putting it at 90 or less. |

Also guys I have two DS3's other one is older and other one is new, difference being that my new controller stiff as heck while the old used one is so limp that 'shrooms' move almost by their own.
This obviously has huge impact on how the controls feel in the game. |

Whatever the preference, more or less sensitive, we should have an option for it. I'm advocating being given a far wider range of possible sensitivities, plus having the sensitivity setting fixed. |

Controls are way to sensitive for me too. I had mine droped to 2 on both x and y and still felt it was too fast. |

I currently can't play this build at least until I can get used to the twitchy acceleration on mildy twitchless game. Before I could easily follow a target correctly at close, medium, and far distances. Now all the adjustements I attempt to make to my aim start and stop too fast. Also the slider does nothing to sensitivity like the op mentioned.
I've tried the move controller, but the gun not moving with me and the bullets hitting way below the crosshair just made the aiming situation worse. |

I notice that the controller sensitivity settings not working is not listed in the thread of current bugs. This seems surprising as there are multiple threads with people mentioning this issue.
I am hoping to get some recognition from a dev that this is at least recorded as an issue that needs fixing. As it is, the controller is no use to me. |

NO!
I need more sensitivity... I've changed mine to 9 and I still think its not sensitive enough, I also been assuming that feature isn't even enabled, yet. But I can learn to use the sluggish controls... I still don't use autoaim like a noob, and I still get good kills when people are playing and not just testing out what their character can do or what guns they can use. |

I thought I read somewhere on here that auto aim was off in this build no matter what setting you have it on.
I agree with the OP. I'm a veteran FPS player and I am using the default sensitivity setting. I play CoD on setting 8 (10 being the 'insane' setting for those that don't play). I am comfortable with it but for those that need less sensitivity the system could use some attention. |

For some strange reason, to make your DS3 more sensitive you have to turn it down towards 0 and not up to 100

I find the PS3 controller sensitivty to ber very problematic on a couple of fronts. In the menu screens, when attempting to scroll between choices (fittings, weapons, etc), there is no control. When I scroll to purchase something, it will start to scroll back uup on its own. If I try and use the directional button and hit down, it automatically goes back up so I get nowhere. Then in gameplay, the sensititvyt reaks havoc on sniping ability with any weapon. it's all over the place. It's causing me to be killed a lot more often than necessary and making for some distasteful battles. |

Sensitivity is certainly a personal preference. Surely you'd agree that we should all be able to set it to what works for us, no?
Currently the setting doesn't really work whichever way you want to go. I don't think this is because it isn't implemented... it was working fine last build.

For me the sensitivity is far far far too low. Controls are so sluggish and unresponsive. On full turn it takes me a couple of seconds to do a 360. This makes staying on target almost impossible for me. Especially in CQC as the enemy moves far quicker than my cross-hairs can.
I have it on 100 x and y and it feels no different. Aim assist seems to do nothing either.
Ill try setting it at 0 to see if that makes a difference.
What I do know, is that after 5 hours on DUST, I had to turn my sensitivity in MW3 down from 6 to 3 just because it felt far too fast compared... |
