just wondering if anyone knows if you can sell the salvage items you pick up after battle

IMO there should be a "Sell to the house" kind of deal, where you can delete an item from your inventory for a small sum of ISK. Every little bit counts! |

In the finished game the market likely will not be seeded as it is now so you will likely be able to sell to other players. You'll probably be reliant on eve players making your higher level drop suits. |

Hopefully it will be like Eve market...where you can sell those salvaged items as is or reprocess those items for the minerals and sell them...also have skills for doing such... |

it has to be the same as EVE, you either sell the item to other players who have active buy orders or else put a sell order and wait until the item sells. It's called trading, easy and efficient. Other way perhaps we might have a reprocessing facility that allows to convert the salvage into minerals and then you sell the minerals. However I don;t see how that could happen unless there is an integrated market and / or other Dust players need minerals to manufacture items. |

Since there seems to be no indication of a manufacturing system on dust (systems that are incoming are at least represented) I imagine it will be up to EVE players to produce things. So you may be selling to eve players. There's been no word on how intergrated the 2 markets will be as far as I know but I would imagine you can see and move DUST items in EVE (don't forget all DUST matches are on 1 planet at the moment) but may not be able to see EVE items in DUST. |
