Started up the game to play the new build,
Seen that Ambush was the only game mode available,
Turned off Playstation!
Get rid of this crap game mode please for gods sake! |

Is there a Skirmish mode in?
If there is I might play again however if there is not and i keep getting Ambush I am sure as hell not going to be playing this for long!
Remove Ambush or lose a player base. I really don't want to play that horrible game mode as I'm sure many many others will also. If there is a Skirmish available then there needs to be a way to select skirmish only. |

I can not see why a 1:1 Ambush to Skirmish ratio would help you will still be thrown into a crap game mode you don't like playing. Please remove it and put back in the game selection window we had before. I realise CCP are testing out game selection modes but they will hardly be able to test a thing if people just stop playing the game like me because they detest Ambush/TDM! |

Since we've already tested the heck out of Battle Finder, we need to test Instant Battle. The reason why the Instant Battles are any game mode is because that's also a part of the calculations for finding a battle for you, and thus need testing.
Though, not sure why people are in outcry over Ambush/TDM.
The only gripe I have with it is some levels are not designed with vehicles in mind, so when someone spawns a vehicle, it becomes very broken.
What you fail to realise is that if Instant Battle is in there in it's current form I WILL NEVER USE IT!
I do not want to play Ambush/TDM I feel it is a inferior game mode and will never play it so if Instant Battle is going to be there in it's current form without any form of filter then I for one will not be using it! As this is the only mode there is in game of finding a match then I am no longer testing it.
Why can't people see this. What we are complaining about is the fact that you are FORCED to play a game mode you do not want to play when selecting Instant Battle. There will be other game modes, one would hope, and if there is going to be an instant battle option there needs to be a filter in it to allow you to select the type of battle you want to play.
The problem with TDM in any game is it takes no thought and imagination to create it. Would you go to a paintball match and be happy with being shoved in a square room with the opposing team and told the door will be locked for 3hrs have fun! |
