People need to realize that tanks weren't hit with the nerfbat like people think. I attribute this to not many people knowing what they are talking about since many tank users did it for teh lolz.
The only tank that had something taken away is really the marauder class. They no longer have the 50% damage buff, butt that will probably be reimplemented at some point. I don't think it should be to such a high degree tho. Maybe around 25%.
Railgun turrets traverse more slowly and on the railguns and missile launchers, projectile speed has been slowed down. Missile launcher ROF has been slowed down.
Turrets have been buffed in general.
Aside from the damage buff, none of this has been a nerf to tanks. People are simply able to use a larger variety of AV implements to attack tanks with such as flux grenades. |

Ignatius, im not disputing the effectiveness of your AV build there. You know i respect your AV abilities as we have come head to head many times last build (a couple rounds there i was pretty drunk n i threw like 4 tanks at you lolz).
I laugh at people who stand outside of cover to shoot their swarms at me instead of shooting OVER the cover they are using while i put a railgun round in their face. common sense isnt so common i guess tho.
Again, like i said, i dont have a problem with your fitting. What i was pointing out was your statement about one true AV fit was wrong, as there is no god fit in this game. |

Just to hammer my point home, that's not a God fit - It's THE only viable AV fit. Try aiming a forge gun while missiles are hitting your position and you'll see what I mean.
i know exactly what you mean. i really only roll in a forge heavy if im not driving.
if you put yourself in a position as a forge gunner where the tank can hammer you with missiles like that its usually your fault. again, this is from my own experience. As much as you complain about the flinch being unfair for heavies, who are you to say a tank should have to deal with a dropsuit tanking multiple missiles and still getting off an accurate 4k damage forge round?
Dont stare at the tank in the face while you shoot it. I have found a plethora of ways to get shots off with my forge while maintaining the 6 second charge while not getting hit in the face. |

understand a single line on the patch notes says that range has been increased. thats all, theres nothing else that the "buff" is based on.
I have been using the smg's this build and i would say i have noticed a significant decrease in kills. I am OK with this though since it IS a sidearm and people shouldn't be running around like it is an AR.
CCP probably made changes to the smg aside from range that was in more fundamental mechanics that changed how they work. |

if you are a heavy and your taking multiple missiles to the face, i dont think you should die like a scout, but yeah, i think it should be harder to aim. |
