I keep getting slaughtered when I respawn in some of the games because on respawn I get dropped in amongist 3 to 6 enemies for no reason. In reality I'd spawn on my squad or near a larger group of freindly mercs, and not in the middle of the enemy. I've lost a hundred various dropsuits because of it and it's nut's and very expensive. I don't even have a chance to defend myself. Does the game think that i'm on that team ?? Use some common sense guy's cause it's not even halfway funny and i'm getting tired of it. Either fix the problem or allow us to pick the games that we want to play, especially since the Quick Battle is broken as i've written in a previous thread.
Edit: I'm talking about Ambush guy's - there are no CRU's. |

Are you talking about ambush or skirmish? (I'm assuming ambush.)
Easiest way to get around it: use drop uplinks. That way you can get a foothold in a specific location for your team instead of spawning willy nilly all over the map.
I haven't actually played ambush in this build, though. |

In reality, you would spawn within a CRU or a building, or drop down from the MCC.
The spawning mechanic in this game is retarding as all hell to gameplay, I absolutely despise it.
Really hope "drop pods" or indoor-spawning is implemented, spawning outside the CRU and randomly appearing on the ground is a major error with both realism and gameplay. |

I got annoyed the other night while getting spawned and killed within 3 seconds of spawning... Simply turning around and getting shot down amongst a group of enemy combatants...
Though I found it easier to just use uplinks as some have said... |

You can pick a spot to spawn. If you pick a spot that the enemy is by then you will get spawn killed, I have done it myself. You should be able to see them on the map before you pick a location. Granted there needs to be ways to cut down on base killing. However, this is beta as of right now time will only tell CCP most times does a great job of taking player input into how it responds. |

There are also ships the size of small cities that can get within a planet's gravity well and not be snapped in half by their own weight, not to mention ships like the MCC don't have thrusters in the correct positions to keep it hovering in the atmosphere... There are so many, much larger points of non-realism in the game... shouldn't you go after those before going after the schematics of troop spawning? *sigh* |

I haven't actually played ambush in this build, though. And they camp those droplinks as soon as they find them. And since alot of people don't have comms. -- easy kills for them, especially in ambush. |

Teardrops are falling on my head ... YES it is annoying, but the random spawn should be used as an entry before your team has grouped. After the grouping and the appropiate placement of uplinks the problem shouldbe already decreased.
If the uplink is being camped then the team is doing something wrong as the Uplink in Ambush is similar to a CRU in Skirmish. I guess people have to realize this. On the other hand I suggest that the Logi should be able to deactivate the link either from the map or spawn menu. |
