Sooo I was marching single file down the line towards the new Instant Battle as I was being forced to do, and no menu popped up. I attempted a soft reset, where you can use your controller or the power button to turn off the system, and as it goes to restart, I get the three beeps, and then an infinite black screen - meaning I had to unplug my system from the wall.
This is horrible. I played for not even 15 minutes. I joined two games after receiving probably 5 or 6 errors telling me the room couldn't be joined or server full (By the way, wtf? I'M not the one that picked the server! CCP, aren't your computers smart enough to put me in a server that still has room? Are they ****ing autistic computers or something?), and still managed to crash. This is the worst kind of crash and wreaks havoc on electronics.
I'm sure you'll all miss me, but I'm not playing this game anymore until this is fixed. It's absurd that my PS3 hard crashed within 15 minutes of playing this new patch. |

Don't worry I wont miss you and your rant posts. I sure hope that you read the sticky and saw that this is only 1/3 of the build. I'm sure that CCP knows about the freezing issues already (I know that others have reported this without whining) and hopefully have this problem fixed when they release the other patches. I've read many of your posts and they are all the same you rant and rave about the unfairness of the world and expect us to care. I hope you have fun with whatever game it is that you are going to play, since according to every post that you have ever made, this game is obviously going to fail. I look forward to you tearing through my text and pointing out individual words to grip about.
Every post I've ever made? You do yourself a disservice by not truly reading all my stuff thoroughly. I insist you do so now.
Look, I'm not going to lie - It's pretty fun complaining on this forum because NO ONE seems to actually know how to make a game and everyone gets upset when a valid, game balancing idea is pitched. The things people want in this game are the exact things that kill online FPS's. Everyone keeps complaining when OP things get nerfed, not once thinking about how fun the game could be if they actually applied valid effort towards the online competition. A lot of this game caters to noobs. Imagine if in WoW, you could easily kill max level characters with one button press within an hour of playing. No one would play it. Same thing works here.
Many of the things I have recommended are getting implemented but here's the thing - when I recommend them EVERY ONE tells me I'm wrong. I made a topic about how BS it is for people to smash players with dropships, and probably 80% of the replies were telling me it's a valid tactic. Now, they changed the dropship controls so the learning curve takes more than 5 minutes of ****ing around to master. Another topic where I mentioned grenade indicators were needed to avoid BS deaths from not seeing a black spot that takes up a few pixels, makes no noise, and has no indicating light killing you in one hit - no one agreed with me. Now we have grenade indicators
If you are offended by anything I say, I urge you to go on youtube and look through some basic military training preparation videos: It's not how it's said. It's what is said. I've participated in well over a dozen betas and a good portion of FPS betas. I know what I'm talking about. |

It's what is said. Walk up to your commanding officer and tell him "Nice fuckin shades, sir." with a surly growl and see how that goes over compared to *salute* "Nice glasses, sir." in a cheery voice. After you've tried that, tell us again how all that matters is what is said rather than how........ You don't have to kiss ass to have a message well recieved, but throwing temper tantrums and telling everyone how much they "suck" and are "going to fail" over every little thing that doesn't favor you will just get you ignored, or in many IRL instances, much worse.
I'm not going to treat anyone with the same respect/fear I treat my commanding officer. You clearly... never mind. When did I ever tell anyone they "suck"? Apparently my opinions aren't ignored if they get implemented into the game. My opinions are logical and balance the playing field, that's why the game is going in the direction I recommend - whether the developers are actually listening to me specifically or not. If nothing else, I'm sure they get a kick out of seeing how people respond to me.
If you have taken personal offense to anything I say, then that, to me, sounds like a personal problem. I assure you - I am not offended by anything you say. |
