Who else has looted officer items and what where they?
I got 10 Officer HMGs that requred HMG proficiency III and did 24 base damage and a larger than average clip size!

You'll notice that every item has a "meta" field. This is the item's meta level. The higher the meta level, the more advanced the item. Meta 0 is militia gear. In EVE T2 items were meta 5, and I believe T2 is analogous to advanced, which would make them also meta 5 I guess. Officer gear is the rarest and most expensive and I believe was meta 9.
And what does all that mean for you? It's usually mods with lighter fitting and skill requirements than T2. They may also be trivially more powerful than the T2 mods. |

I'm hugging my Officer HMG,SMG and Forge gun sooo hard right now.
The HMG in the right hands would be terrifying I'm almost embarrassed to fit it on my horribad type II suit

i got 5 runs of a GM-7 (i think gm-7, not online right now) compact assault rifle. but really it's more comparable to the gek than a duvolle or a creodron.
same PG/CPU requirements as the GEK with slightly reduced damage, slightly increased RoF, same magazine capacity. (calculated the dps and it was BARELY weaker than the gek.)
stats list it as slightly LESS accurate than the gek, but it feels like it might actually have a little bit lighter recoil when sighted.
not sure those accuracy stats mean anything anyway. they list hmgs as super accurate and creodrons as only like a point better than duvolles? |

Mostly everything seems to avoid the meta 5 though as if they're planning on tech 2 eventually..

militia=civilian
standard=tech 1
advanced= best named tech 1
tech2 to come later(I think the logistics lav/marader hav/blackops hav/logistics dropship will be made tech 2 by launch)

I got some non-market grenades and a forges guns. Dunno if they are "officer spawns" but they are definitely better that their equivalent meta level. |
