And before you tell me I suck as a pilot I got two more tanks painted on my dropship today one of which was a sagaris (lawl armor tanking sags) a few dozen infantry mowed down and airdropped two squads worth of folks safely. That is probably a hell lot more than average pilot since launch. I would like to thank the brave mercs that had some faith in me not to crash instantly. Had the enemy had the sense to use swarm launchers earlier I wouldnt be here braging bout post build kills.
Im having no problems at all with the new physics. It's harder to keep it steady so your missile gunners can hit stuff (that said I think alot of the time parked next to an empty tank still wouldn't be good enough for most gunners) but I think it's new found agility adds to the fun. So far iv not crashed it once fatally. And I had a doosey of a head on with another dropship! It's agility means that the npc launchers find it very hard to hit you. Landing it again, still no probs, just hover a meter or so of the fround and wait for the landing gear. Still hard to evade swarm launchers though. Would be handy if you got a lock on warning.
Overall, bar the cost. I prefer them this way. Feels alot more realistic, not like the old physics where it was virtually flown for you.
