Cost of HAV--- 3,000,000 isk.
Cost to blow HAV up--- 4 people with Forge gun = 35,200 isk... whut? 8,800 each?
Something wrong here? You betcha. With the increase of the price for tanks and other artillery either amplify the damn HP/Shield for all of them to match their new prices, or bring the price of the Anti-Vehicle weapons up to par.
For a more comparable price, Forge guns, say the most basic forge gun would have to be... about 300,000 isk to purchase. ranging up to about 500,000 for the "Wiyrkomi" and other protos. this way, if you're building to take out an enemy vehicle that costs a lot of money, you should have to put a lot of money on the line as well...
Similar to how if you're making a build to take out someone in Proto gear, you basically need your own Proto gear to compete...
Also the price of regular gear is absurd compared to the income now. On average a player rakes up about 5 deaths per match, and we have 3 tiers of equipment now for sale. Tier 1 should allow pepole to die at least 5-6 times and still make a tiny bit of profit. Tier 2 should allow only about 1-3 deaths if you want to make profit. Proto should require several battles of not-dying in order to profit. --just my opinion here-- |

There's a difference between preventing all use of tanks and having balanced use. All that I can infer from what you're writing here is that you've never put the cash on the line to procure a tank. The heavy bias you present talks for itself. :/
I know.. I'll give you an example of what you just said, but change a few targets around:
"There should be devices on the market that only cost about 400 isk that can kill someone in a 200,000+ isk suit in one hit, because the weapons magnetize toward the suit when thrown close enough. This would stop Advanced and Proto armors from acting as super-infantry for a high KDR. The game would then be working as intended to keep suit use down to desirable levels." |
