For one reading the book, Templar One (which you should if you are interested in the backstory of this project), you read a lot about the TACNET, the augmented reality screens that enhances the immortal soldiers helmets and ultimately their field of view, mission breifings and so on.
At the moment we only "use" that to have information on our weapons, ammo, radar and to point out enemies like red dots. But that's almost like in any other shooter out today.
I would like to see more high tech animations and that CCP uses this area even more when getting orders, briefings and other information.
It's a field not every other shooter has and that can be used to really amplify the feeling of having hightech gears and suits.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Crysis and Killzone 3 implemented this a bit.
What about taking this to the next level? |

When my commander targets an objective, I want to see a massive pillar of pulsating light visible from all points on the map. Or when firing at an enemy, some epic bright red/blue streamers on my rounds. Perhaps when an ally in your FoV is in a fight, have some sort of electric looking pulse over your ally, signaling you for assistance.

As said, there are a lot of ways to implement this into the game and make it thoroughly awesome and unique! |
