They were not adjusted at all. They are GOD mode. If you say anything different you have not fought a proto scout yet. I laced one with a proto HMG. We were 7 meters apart. I emptied 160 rounds...I overheat...I may have done 20% off his shields. This gun leaves no empty holes were a scout can zig and zag through, but he did. Lots of great looks and updates. But the scout is insane. This is whining about imbalance...I should not have to use a web grenade to win a fight. Just please test yourselves CCP. If you tell us this is right...so be it. The threads will end but I guarantee you are going to see a strong influx into scout suits. |

First off I'm not trying to start an argument. Just wanted to state that.
As a scout I have to say I partially agree, but at the same time in my first game I died eighteen times?!?! Which I have not had happen since the first weekend I picked this game up. Also, Garma Quda, tore my arse up while he was sniping me in-game. So while I have to partially agree. I mean it feels like that, but at the same time it does not. Personally I'm unsure of what factors are pending at the moment and/or contributing to said problems. I mentioned what I felt was "motion blur" in this build, and I feel with the speed of the scout that may be a partial problem in terms of the power of scout, but also at the same time I feel the same could be said for AR's (Assault Rifles) at the moment too. They seem to be one of the few if not the only weapon to feel unchanged in this build. My SMG is garbage currently unless I was directly less then a meter from you. Yet in the patch notes they increased the range marginally for the SMG. So I am baffled by the in-game practice of what I read, and what happens.

Hit detection is still off, problems are worst with the scout suits. (although I've seen it be screwy against a heavy too)
Sometimes it seems like it's working fine, sometimes players take no damage with 30 rounds fired into them. Still inconsistent.
Most of the other things in the new build are pretty good though. |

I am sorry I was not more specific. This fight took place in only about 90 degrees. It was not me chasing his tail. It was scout moving back and forth and sometimes jumping.(I think only once) 90 degrees and 160ish bullets. 2x 10% damage Mods and I have 36 million SP so add all the passive damage increases. This was crazy. I wish I could youtube it. You would bust a gut seeing Neo dodge all but 1 bullet. |

My noob solution: SMG? Check. Protoscout trying to kill me? Check.

Wait near two containers that are a meter apart and twenty meters long. Protoscout tries Neododge but its lolsterskates with only a meter to move in side to side.
Militia SMG kills protoscout. Protoscout comes back again and dies again!
200K a pop means the folks trying to rock proto only are going bye,bye.
Militia/basic for the win. |

heres how to kill a scout... if you have an assault rifle walk backwards and hip fire at them, hip fire in bursts and try to make sure u start firing once they hit the ground after they jump and not really while their in the air |
