WTF do you put into that goddamn Madrugar? My Surya couldn't take it out, and it used to be near invincible against the best Sagaris tanks pre patch. In fact, I made it solely as an Anti Tank. So why were you able to kill me when I had a Railgun, while you had a Missle Launcher?
I blame tank drugs or the patch fked me over, and I need to re evaluate my fits. You cost me about 3 Million ISK, but thankfully I brought those before the price hike and got you in the end with my Forge gun. WTF did this patch do to tanks... |

Made them a team element, rather than a one man army. Took out a guy with my Forge in roughly 8-10 shots, he didn't have any gunners, and I had 0 resistance as he tried to find cover. |

ahem....
#1 - marauder damage buffs have been removed
#2 - standard level tanks were never as bad as people thought, they simply didnt have the same kind of damage output that they could expect from a marauder. Now, with the absence of the marauder buff, turrets have been completely revamped and what you use is based on what situation you are in and your CPU/PG limitations. This is where marauders come on top, since they can equip better weps with better mods. Best part is, each type of turret now has a "best" situation and all are viable in a battle. Railgun isnt king every time anymore.
#3 - L2P, and by that I mean the new build changed a LOT of stuff. It took me a couple rounds to figure out how to deal with the new AV weps and the maps. In addition, tanks have seen a lot of maneuverability changes and CPU/PG has been lowered a lil. Ewar is also being implemented, so watch for that stuff.
#4 - Basically, what I am trying to say is....The skill roof has been raised incredibly high compared to the E3 build and only the "good" tankers are not only going to be the only ones able to remain a factor on the field, but they are the only ones that will stay profitable.
I am VERY happy with the new changes to tanks, despite popular opinion it seems, and I don't mind if most give up on tanks, since most of those people are scrubs anyway. I know tanks are still very good if used right and I plan to steamroll for my corp. Stay the course bud, and you'll learn the ropes again. This build really is fun.... |

In some cases certain fits not possible for Marauders but will fit on the T1 tanks since the resources are a bit different. With the changes to the Marauders, all of my fits become invalid overnight, so I simply remade a very similar fit to the much cheaper T1 tank and it performed wonderfully. Im wondering if that Marauder Damage bonus removal is intentional?
Also keep in mind that Marauders are lacking one of their most important pieces of equipment, Siege Modules, so they will have their true use soon

i logged on, looked at my fits, went , and then spent 10 million ISK to completely revamp my fits after a VERY exciting run through of all the new large turrets. Very happy with how things are now. Lots of fun. Rollin around in my maddy, i always did love you. |

I wish they would give LAV's a tad more CPU and powergrid if they foing to bump my fits from 38k to 300k. Ah well, Adapt or die and all that. |

true, but also understand that with the new size of the maps, LAV's should really begin to shine. Especially with a remote rep. God knows i would love to be able to rely on a corp mate where i can say, "LAV to point A, need reps." and he shows up 15 seconds later with ma reps. LAV's are not maent to be crazy damage dealing death chariots....those are tanks. LAV's are meant to be the go-for's on the field and logi's would be great in this role. Driving around giving support to whoever calls it in. If a squad is about to rush an objective, haul ass over there, give them a nanohive and an uplink, then get to safety so you can go give support to someone else. LAV's are meant to stay on the move. The turret on the back is only for PROTECTION. If your specifically trying to chase guys down with an LAV....I'd have to say your doing it wrong. |

LAVs are really just speed tanked, so all they need is enough buffer to survive a forge gun round or a swarm salvo, so the lack of PG/CPU isnt TOO bad. |

True, I did do very well with my gunner a few matches ago, do for defense the turrets are exceptional. Dont find a lot of matches where I have tanks that i can reliably rep though, I have a Logibro LAV that I love to use to shower tanks with shield reps. maybe we should play sometime.
P.S. Shout out to Average Joe 51. Best Damn Gunner I've ever had, ride with me any time man. |

And you can actually survive swarms by driving straight at the AV solider launching them. They'l go around you and you;ll get a free splatter kill. |

lol, my point has been made. Don't do that tho, cause i want those reps. Unless you have an AV guy sitting waiting for an ambush(theres nothing you can do about that, hes doing his job) you wont get hit by thos eunless you suck at driving cause its an immobile 6 second charge up for the shot. |
