This is way different though, this is a product that hasn't been delivered yet. I am probably going to have to mail PSN about this. |

Let's say I am part of a club for a shooting range. It gives me discounts on range prices. They sell ammo and guns as well. I buy a gun and love it very much. Now let's say they start to give discounts to people in the club for that gun. I'll feel cheated, but it's perfectly lawful.
You do realize I am a customer that already invested in AUR and PS+ and had full beta access? The pack is for items delivered at launch. Getting versions of them during beta doesn't constitute delivery since they are still subject to change dramatically. It's not that I'm going to get outraged, but I'm not going to ignore the fact that I paid a different price for an identical SKU based on time of purchase before delivery, and got nothing additional out of it. |

Nova Knife wrote:It's called a sale. It's not uncommon at all to buy something and then see it massively drop in price a month or two after it comes out! As for being 'Undelivered' this cannot be said at all unless you have not recieved or used any of the merc pack aurum or items. It doesn't matter if it'll be reimbursed later. You've gotten and used your product that you paid for.
Pretty much no company out there will listen to people who come back and complain that something they bought ages ago just went on sale. Some companies do offer a 7 day "Price change promise" or so that if the price drops they'll refund you the difference... but I highly doubt PSN will offer such a deal. Either way, It's a sale. A sale for 10$. If you honestly care that much about 10$..... I don't even know. You bought your stuff, you're here. You're testing a game that could be the start of something truly amazing. What's there to complain about? I would've paid 40$ for the merc pack.
Principal, not amount. It is undelivered, beta items are not the product we paid for, and CCP was very explicit that it is not even possible to have to pay to test things. Why are you so offended that I am not happy that I basically donated $10 to Sony for being an earlier adopter? |

So in other words: **** move CCP. Blame Sony bro, not ccp. The same **** happened with bf3 and b2k, 'preorder bf3 and get b2k free', then dice go and slap those people in the face with y offering it with premium which meant that those who didn't already own b2k and bought premium .........got a better deal than those who did own b2k and bought premium. It happens
The better comparison is if they took preorders on premium, and then a week before they gave it to you they dropped the price, but early adopters were price locked anyway. It's a digital item, there is no consumer benefit to ordering earlier, so it is very backwards to overcharge that group. |

If you buy something early you are -always- going to pay more than later down the road. It makes no sense to be upset about it. I'm astounded at the self-entitled posts here from several people who I thought were pretty logical people and above such things. You paid for something, you got what you paid for. It then went on sale later on. It's that simple. There is no great injustice here. There is no problem. I spent just as much money on this as you did, if not more... and I am not upset. I have also bought several individual aurum packs in addition to the merc pack. I also subscribed to PS+ since last december ever since the initial survey for Dust514 came out. Was I 'Cheated' because CCP mentioned PS+ and then I was subscribed for two months before I ever got a key? Not really.
It's a sale, people. Sales happen in business when people want to sell their product. Grow up and move on.
You are oversimplifying. It is a sale on a preorder of a digital (read not supply limited) item that hasn't launched yet. I am not saying I am entitled to my money back. I am just saying it is not as clear cut to not demand investigation into the matter. |

Who is acting like a child? Consumers have rights too in case you've been told otherwise. |

You received an all access beta key as part of your purchase, plus the option to use the items more than once. I really don't understand your argument - if you didn't feel the Merc pack was worth $20, you shouldn't have bought it.
Beta key was explicitly declared a non-value item. Besides as I mentioned I already had that, and was not given one to given one to gift either. |

Tough luck, buyers beware.
If you preordered that same game for $60, and the guy who walked in the store release night got it for $20, would you feel that is "just business"? |

Someone find the bottle for this baby.
I have a feeling you're referring to me, even though it makes no sense. Get back in your playpen with the other idiots. Or do you just subscribe to the everything that companies can do they have a right to do? All I said is I was investigating and all the apologists crawl out of the woodwork the consumer is an idiot for questioning what is going on. It's a symbiotic relationship, not a master-slave dichotomy. |

You're a bad liar. |
