I have been playing this beta for awhile and it's shaping up pretty good but, what would make this game even better are the following:
1) Weapon Customization (attachments) - So far ive noticed that Assault Rifles do not have the ability to be equiped with an under barrel grenade launcher, exchanging scopes. for sniping it would be a plus to have a bipod.
2) Special Abilities and feature exclusitivity for each class type would be nice.
3) the ability to pick up your victim's weapon before they vanish from kill point and use it ( In Mag you were able to do this but not restock the ammo for it )
4) Since this is a futuristic fps being able to create sentry bots like in Killzone 3 would add some flavor to the game
5) we have remote mines and anti vehicle grenade but adding proximity mines and and anti vehicle mines would be nice ( if you have not already planned it.

interesting Ideas. Unlike some you actualy do have some sence I'll be nice and tell you some of the things that I have heard.

" I've heard rumors that they might introduce weapon customization but right now they need to get the other features working and implemented. (Like the Market and industry)
In Responce to 2: You said: "2) Special Abilities and feature exclusitivity for each class type would be nice." I dont think that this will ever be implemented simply because of the universe that DUST is a part of, Everyone can do anything so long as you have the skills so if you introduce say, a Shield explosion for heavies, someone can spec their skills just to get that ability and then use a scout that might have alot more shields and cause alot of damage from the explosion.
In Responce to 3: You said: ") the ability to pick up your victim's weapon before they vanish from kill point and use it ( In Mag you were able to do this but not restock the ammo for it )" This is kind of being implemented with the salvage option but what you are saying would be impractical since this game is all about how you fit your stuff BEFORE the battle and not the stuff that you pick up IN the battle.

1 lots of thread request that I hope ccp takes the hint. 2 in eve ships have small bonus to their atuff like 10% increase to.track apeed for hybrid turrets or 5% oncrease to blaster or 10% less capacitor cost for lasers ect ect. On top of each ships cpu/pg/energy stats that already support one or the other maybe every suit having its own diffrent bonus would be good like one assault suit get 10% increase turning speed when ADS and another assault gets 5% increase to damge. Is this what you meant? 3 no. you fit your gun to your suits cpu/pg before hand what if your suit was complete maxed out on cpu and pg using a basic weapon and you find a prototype gun? Getting ammo yes, gun no. 4 maybe 5. I would hope so |
