While i do beleave spawn camping is a good mechanic to do for control points, I think there should be something in place for being able to spawn camp the default spawn point. There was a skirmish game where the the attacking team had pushed the defending team all the way back to the "back" field where we only had one spawn point. There was a tank on the roof of one of the structures, all he did was fire his guns on the spawn point, so as soon as we spawned we would die. he ended up with like 120+ kills at the end of the game. And we could not get out of the area. Suggestion to fix the would be at the "BASE" spawn points maybe in a shield that you can shoot in or out of, so there is a chance of escape. and the team being pinned down cant exploit staying inside the force shield. Also maybe just having a 1 sec invulnerability shield on spawn in so you can load before getting shot at for other spawn points. |

maybe at some cover structures for the "BASE" spawn point, then you would spawn in cover but you would have to go out of safety to shoot back |

I have seen this post before. Sounds like your team failed to defend. Once the next build is in play and we can group up. You will be seeing more of this. I suggest you place drop uplinks in strategic points early on. Help prevent this disaster from happening to you again. You can't blame the tank for it happening. It was your teams fault for allowing themselves to be put in this position. |

In addition, if you had a decent fit you could get out the spawn. I have pinned them down before to this point and see enemy still get out. Not all assault suits die with one shot of my missile turrets. Use it as grounds to say that fit you have isn't much of a fit. Railgun to the chest is a different story. |

Spawning is problematic right now I agree. It's distasteful - ain't it - to get an immediate reply from your post here by STB-TedNugent EV - by in so many words - calling you a loser. The real losers are the farmers in the game - who usually are just staring at their kill ratio count - and will do whatever they can to make themselves look good - and to heck with a good fight.
So how many times have we played where a Sagaris tank is out - that can one shot any infrantry unit within its gunsights? How many times have we seen these farmers like STB & friends go straight for the SPAWN installations - destroy them all FIRST - as to quickly kettle the fight into a turkey shoot at the spawn point? How many times do you see players on YOUR TEAM just go off and do nothing, while the few who are trying to fight the Farmers - are being kettled with a Sagaris tank, and maxed out dropsuits?
One thing STB is right about in his post here: once the Farming "I'm better than you" and you suck" get to pick their own teams- the problem will only get worse - unless an actual discussion takes place - free of people calling forum posters "LOSERS" - where something can be done to make the game a little more flexible and not so susceptible to the KDR whores.
