The first thing people notice is the zoom in scopes on the assualt rifles and sniper rifles. People are going to think Dust guns suck because the graphics on the scopes don't look nothing like they should look. If you looking in a scope, it shouldn't look like that basically. Thats going to turn a lot of new players off. Second, they will notice how bad the knifing is compared to every first person shooting game out there. Right now, the knifing is horrible even if it is level all the way up. These is the first things people will notice. Hopefully they change this and they add more scopes so guns can look and feel more realistic, but futuristic at the same time. |

That really doesn't make any sense, hopefully they change that because when you look through the scope on the submachine gun, it looks nothing like the assault rifle and sniper rifles. If these is faction based features. Then they should stop confusing people and add the faction gameplay to the game. |

It would be easy for me to think that, if i didn't see this video. The scopes came from looking like this video. To looking how they look now. They really need to work on they scopes. I got a wild imagination, but I know when something suck lol.

Wow you have weird priorities. The sights work fine except maybe the mass driver. How would you design them, then?
I'm just letting people know that when new people first play this game, why they think it suck. Because that was the first things I was thinking when I first played it. |

This was the same exact thing I was thinking when I was looking at gameplay footage of Resistance 2. I was thinking wow, the scopes on this game look nice. I wish Dust scopes looked like that lol

Because that was the first things I was thinking when I first played it. not everyone is just like you and im sure there will be plenty of other things they will not like right away. while there are some things that are buggy, i actually find it hard to find things that i dont like.
I like this game, I just want it to be great. People are turned off by the smallest things. Thats something I notices with video games because there is so many games out there. |

They need to add that back to the game because right now it feels odd and I see a lot of other people notice that too and this is why they think the gun mechanics suck. All they need to do is go back to the way they had it at first and adjust it a little. |

Speaking as another person, I didn't even bother with the sights. I literally have no opinion of them, kind of generic sic-fi stuff, they work and thats it.They don't look awful and they do their job.
I honestly don't see what you beef is, because your not communicating it very well as you've not actually said whats wrong with them, just that "everyone will hate them".
I just had a look at resistance, its just ironsights with some lines on an overlay. Nothing special.
I'm not actually sure what your saying, your saying that the Dust sights are too much?

Thats what people are going to see. You can see outside the focal point. I don't really like that. I'm sure a lot of other people don't like it either because it's not like the other shooters. I think it's more realistic if you can't see outside the focal points. When I'm aiming at someone. I don't really look on the side of me. I'm trying to focus on aim, which why we look through the scope. To aim down the target. If we want to see around us, we should fire from the hip. Thats more realistic gameplay, which I prefer. Well I guess in the future, both of the soldier eyes looks through a scope and which they can see around them lol
I think I might have misunderstood knifing. Maybe it is good the way it is. It probably just need better hit detection like a lot people keep saying. |

I for one hate the scope, hud futuristic crap what ever you want to call it! The sights suck for the weapons!
The submachine looks amazing though. From the clip, the scope, to the design. That's my favorite gun on Dust.
I didn't getting into the other guns yet, such as the forge gun and the rocket launcher. I will let someone else get into that. I played most with the assault rifle, submachine gun, and sniper rifle. |
