what an awesome post! i havent seen that and it shows CCP basically refuting most of the tank are op complaints lol.
then the immediately next part is a text saying cooperate with squads for a combined role.......

it doesnt always take 3-4 guys to take down a tank. i pop plenty of marauders by myself with my heavy fit, so i simply dont see where everyone is coming from with their inability to pop a tank.
again, why is it a guy who has a good aim with a good fitting no dying considered a god when a driver surviving in his tank is always considered a cheating scrub?
there might actually be a good driver or two out there... |

why dont you guys actually look at my thread with a nice video of CCP talking about tanks.....itll answer all your complaints in about a minute.
i understand if you dont like debating with actual CCP vids tho. |

im sorry you have such a tough time taking out tanks. i dont find it to be such a problem honestly.
again, if you still choose to debate this after not viewing the CCP vid thats on my thread, then your willingly arguing against facts/CCP and thats not going to get you anywhere.
They clearly state tanks are hard to pop because they are tanks. ewar will change all that tho. CCP basically put a huge "working as intended" sign on tanks. |

then at that point why doesnt your team have any ground armor? btw, that doesnt make tanks OP.
are dropships OP because one team has air superiority? |

you have to adapt to what the enemy team has. If they have 3-4 tanks, simply getting a few guys to go AV will be tough. You also have the ability to call in armor.
If your AV guys are competent tho you wouldnt even have given the enemy a chance to bring in that many tanks in the first place. Its the same thing with redlining....the redlined team played like **** in the first place.
gonna get fixed tho.

Thats all. We all plan on putting all our points into tanks next build like everyone else. Eventually everyone on here will be driving tanks . If you cant beat em join em. Just playing this til the next game comes out. Passing time. Need a FPS to play
sorry for the confusion, ive seen so much QQ bout tanks it kinda just blends together eventually. Even with a bunch of people skilling in tanks, theres still not going to be as much people using them because ewar is going to significantly change the face of ground armor and people are going to go broke if they arent actually dedicated to being a driver. |

np, everyone here deserves respect and i make a point of never trolling unless there are shenanigans present. Even after all that effort, it baffles me that there was an entire thread about me being the biggest troll on the forums...
you dont have to agree with me, but at least afford the other person the respect you want in return, you know?
also, i always strive to make sure the things i profess in my posts are backed up by CCP,otherwise its pure speculation. A lot of people say this and that about game mechanics and this will make the game fail and this is broken......CCP knows what they want to do and they are looking at a much bigger picture than mos tof the people here, just look at one of their vids, like the one in my thread....its really exciting to see i think.
anyway, sorry for the long winded post lisa and thanks for the good convo, nice to debate without trolling |

while pointless, its also plenty fun. my fam has the big tv right now cause of the olympics so thats partly why im so active on the forums right now. once i move back into the frat come the fall term ill be spending a lot more time in-game versus on the forums.
@ICE - i dont think ill be dissapointed at all, but im really hoping im pleasantly surprised. kinda sucks grouping is stuck a 4, but it protects joe sh.it the rag man from fighting a 12 man team of navy seals. |

When's the last time you heard anyone say "we need AV guys! They have a gunnloggi!" Never. Marauders are instant death if they have good aim, 2-4 seconds if not.
The real problem is balancing tanks with tanks. A 1.5 damage mod will always screw that... Pretty obvious really... Problem is people generalise "Tank" to mean surya.
i feel its necessary to point out that marauders aer supposed to be death machines....theyre not tanks or black ops tanks, but marauders. Black ops tanks will be excellent at whatever theyre meant for, just like every other installation/weapon/suit has something its meant for. |

understand that with the differences at release( the decrease in probability that we will be able to afford this much proto stuff every round due to changes in prices and gains, people not playing as much as we do since we ARE beta testers who already had an interest in this game and asked to play, and typical economic strategy) not everyone will be in full proto gear all the time and lower tier tanks will be used a higher percent of the time instead of everyone having marauders.
in release, when someone calls in a marauder, CCP wants the other team to **** themselves.
also with war points being needed to call in these vehicles, well you get my point... |
