I would like to say this is a letter to any person that has wrote a negative comment about CoD, and yes GM's, it has a small relevance to Dust if you read till the end.
You simply need to look in just about any thread ever created on these forums to see how much people hate CoD due to the fact it is skill-less, a twitch shooter, whine, troll, b*tch, etc. etc. etc. Well here's a hint to those of you who have made these comments, and it's the title of this thread. Yes, kiddies, CoD wasn't meant to take skill, strange, I know since most of you will be doing everything you can to top the leaderboards in null-sec (whatever the f*ck that is), or whatever "hardcore" people will be doing in Dust.
CoD is an arcade shooter, and it was meant to be fun. Don't get me wrong, I'm no hardcore CoD player, but I do play it every once and a while to, you guessed it, have fun. True, CoD tends to repeat itself with each "new" title that is released, but due to the fact the last release sold somewhere around 15 million copies on day one, I don't think the CoD fanbase wants a whole lot of change. You can whine and b*tch about CoD being the same every "new" release, but don't whine and b*tch about it taking no skill to play, because it wasn't meant to.
So, can we please stop comparing Dust to CoD, because these forums allow you to respond to them for your constructive criticism, not your half-assed comparisons. |
