Blatant ignorance - apparently didn't read that hit detection was being improved.
This game is operating solely on core gameplay elements with Eve Online mechanics first - and FPS mechanics second.
It's cool though, we from New Eden know that you've just made this thread to warrant attention like so many others before you in Eve Online. It's the same argument, you didn't get your way so you're done with the game.
See you in a few months, mate. No-one ever truly leaves New Eden. |

do ppl even know HOW cod plays? if ppl did alot of these "go back to cod" comments wont even be made cuz some of the complaints ppl making are not even near how cod plays, hate when ppl just jump on a bandwagon cuz "its the kool kid thing to do" pretty sure most ppl dont even have a legit reason to hate on cod btw other than "its cod"
PS: inb4gobacktocod.......i hate cod but i DO have a legit reason on why i hate the mechanics in the game and not just on a "hate cod bandwagon"
Anyway vehicle wise we'll have to see how the AV stuff and groupin works im more concerned how the core fps mechanics still need alot of work
The reason we're all saying "go back to CoD town" is because there's no meaning in your gameplay. Might have better mechanics - maybe - but at the end of the match what did you accomplish? A new unlock? A new prestige level? Congratulations, you're one of a few million.
I'm willing to over-look petty non-sense in a BETA of an EXPERIMENTAL game that HAS NEVER BEEN ATTEMPTED BEFORE in which all of my choices and decisions have PERMANENT CONSEQUENCES in a PERSISTENT world. |

If it wasn't P2P it would be a great game. Tanks are OP and take zero real skill to use been roaming around with them dropping anywhere from 80-100 kills.

I'm sorry but most people don't really give two ***** about EVE and it's persistent world other than the EVE players. Most of us are just looking for a decent shooter that supports games larger than 12v12 so we can get all our buddies into matches together without having to break up groups.
Soooo go play MAG. Eve Online is a Niche game, there's nothing else like it - and Dust 514 is going to be the same way. It's a -persistent- realm where actions and consequences matter. If you can't overlook petty stupid gameplay mechanics that don't equally match/directly rip-off your favorite mind-numbing shooter than you're playing the wrong game.
Most people don't give two ***** about Eve? Fine - leave. You're in -OUR- game and CCP has made it -very- clear that the opinions and feedback of Eve players over-shadows yours. I'm sure the CSM would agree in this aspect.
