I've solo killed a Sagaris and then turned around and solo'd a Surya in less than a minute with a proto Swarm Launcher.
Some tank drivers suck at fitting, some are bad at knowing when to run away. And some are good at both and nearly impossible to solo kill.
Keep trying, it'll give you a better perspective on skill. Go do tanks too. They're not insta-win.
Nanohives are a big help. |

I know vehicles are hard for many infantry to deal with, but infantry are nearly always the top scorers in the game. Every game.
We just need more anti-vehicle guys to make up for the imbalance. Proto SL/SMG is a good fit, this is what I am and given you're probably vastly better than I am with the DS3 you should be able to do well, especially given the SMG has a little bit more range now. Put a nanohive and some AV grenades and you should be able to keep the field clear of a lot of vehicles, as well as deal with a lot of infantry when you're done. |

Just be the guy with good gun game that can do other things well too, and balance them out. SL is easy to fit into things, versus tanks or dropships. |

it's basically a battery that can run low, and when it does, things don't work. guns/modules/etc. Basically it's a resource you can "war" against with electronic warfare, as well as use up by overuse. in EVE cap is a big deal.
I don't know how cap will affect dropsuits, but it could easily be implemented in vehicles. |
